Andreas’ vision is to empower communities and drive prosperity. His experience in international environments developing new business, building teams and delivering large-scale developments for corporations and governments, enables him to appreciate the commercial value add development opportunities of a well-structured transport network.

Early on in Andreas’ career, which spans over three decades, he became a key team member of Transport for London’s Jubilee Line Extension Project Office, responsible for one of the most successful transit-oriented development projects in the world. Throughout this initial £1bn investment, Andreas managed key elements relating to the design and construction of various new metro stations and facilities. As part of this extensive development, his team received formal special project recognition from the London Transport Chairman for developing an alternative design concept for Waterloo Station, resulting in cost savings to London of £10m.

Andreas’ Jubilee Line experience landed him a role as Project Architect for the design of four new metro stations as part of the Line 4 extension of Sao Paolo’s Metro, which subsequently resulted in managing multiple large-scale real estate projects throughout Latin America. Having worked in senior management positions for international brands such as Unilever, General Electric, Jaguar Land Rover, Rolls-Royce and Walmart, Andreas has always retained his passion for developing innovative solutions that improve the flow of cities. Andreas revitalised this personal interest in transportation by more recently working as an urban and transport planning specialist and business development consultant for various major advisory organizations, namely UK Trade and Investment, EY, Arup and ISG plc.

Andreas currently leads Ascendal Group’s Real Estate division. His vast experience ensures that the Group are well placed to deliver transformative transit-oriented development projects for cities around the world.

This most recently includes developing a proposal for an advanced and sustainable transport artery connecting some of the main urban development zones in West London.
